Learn how to do what you thought was impossible, fly! This is a fun and safe way to push your body and mind to new levels of strength and ability. The class will consist of warm-ups, stretching, conditioning, developing technique, and building muscle memory on aerial silks/fabric. We will learn how to climb, foot lock, wrap, hip key and descend. All levels are welcome; instruction will focus on beginner and intermediate levels. No experience or prerequisites necessary. Please wear tight comfortable cotton clothes without zippers, belts or metal parts that could snag the fabric. Hair should be pulled back in an elastic band and jewelry must be removed.
Aerial Dance, Kids (Ages 6-12)
Your little ones can now learn how to do what they thought was impossible, fly! Your young aerialists will be introduced to the basics of Aerial Arts. Students will gain agility and flexibility in this hour long class focusing on safety and body awareness. Students will soar to new heights with this exciting and stimulating new form of exercise and fun!
Come join us in a traditional ballet barre sequencing with contemporary/alternative music. Focus is on alignment & initiating movements to create extension & space in the body while creating stability & flexibility. Great for those who want to realize their inner ballerina dreams in a supportive all inclusive environment. No prior ballet experience needed but intermediate or advanced dancers welcomed especially if returning after injury. The intention of the class collective is that ALL can benefit from the intelligent wisdom of ballet anatomy which follow the body's natural spiral energies to allow us to soar from the inside out!

This class covers basic Technique & Middle Eastern rhythms along w/ combinations. For many, belly dance does not feel like the grind of normal exercise. It connects people to a place of beauty within themselves. No previous dance or aerobics experience is necessary. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Learn fun and exciting dances to popular Bollywood songs. Inspired by the high energy music from Indian films, this class combines traditional Indian folk and classical dance with bhangra and contemporary movement. Steps are broken down to make for an easy and enjoyable experience every time! Class begins with a warm up of Bollywood dancing, followed by learning easy choreography that builds on itself every month, and concludes with a pleasant cool down. This class is suited for beginner Bollywood dancers as well as somewhat experienced dancers.
Here's your chance to perfect those movements learned in your Thur/Sat Bollywood class! Review fun and exciting dances to popular Bollywood songs and increase your grasp of this exciting dance form! Class begins with a short 5-10 min warm up, followed by covering easy choreography that builds on itself every class, and concludes with a pleasant cool down. This class is focused mainly on choreography. Some prior experience in Thu/Sat Bollywood class suggested.
Bollywood for Kids (ages 5-8)
Bring your little ones for a fun time of dance, yoga and play! This class helps develop FOCUS, flexibility and coordination in this fun and active class. A great beginning level class for both BOYS AND GIRLS to develop their creative instincts! Kids engage in follow along dance routines, playful dance games, easy yoga postures, a group led stretch and a few minutes of relaxation.
Chi Gong - Gentle Chinese Energy Practices
Moving meditation for health, balance & vitality. Chi Gong is literally translated as “life energy cultivation.” This holistic practice involves gentle, flowing movements, and conscious breathing to fortify energy, balance, and flow, and evoke calm meditative states.
Reasons to practice Chi Gong include: Health recovery, Balance, Gentle exercise, Energy recovery & fortification, Self healing, Moving meditation, Focused practices such as martial arts, performance, yoga, dance & other activities, Mental and emotional clearing & harmony, & Integrated wellbeing. Chi gong has been practiced for over 4,000 years for health, spirituality, and martial arts training. This ancient and vital art has roots in Chinese medicine, martial arts and philosophy. Chi Gong is practiced to cultivate, build, and balance life energy, as well as support the body at various levels, and bring fresh clarity to the mind.
This class is accessible to movers of all levels, and offers intermediate to advanced dancers a challenge in exploring their movement expression. The group begins with a heat-building warm up based on functional movement, skeletal alignment, and modern/ballet/yoga technique. Then, dancers learn and work together through a unique contemporary dance phrase or sequence. The choreography portion of class offers an opportunity to explore one’s expression through contrasting movement quality, playing with weight shifting, and coordinating breath with movement.
Country Western Line Dance
No experience necessary to do these 2 and 4 wall line dances. You can jump in any time with easy to follow step by step instruction. Aerobic and mental training included in each class.
Hatha Yoga Level 1/2
A balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and therapeutic principles as well as dynamic movement and breath practices to free up restrictions within the body. Enjoy the practice of mindfulness, and the observing of breath and body as you benefit from increased flexibility and strength!
Indian Classical Dance
Dive deep into the dance and teachings of ancient India as you explore the graceful postures, footwork, mudras (hand gestures), and expressions of a dance form developed as a means to liberate the soul. The class begins with a dance and yoga warm up, followed by technique and classical Indian dance conditioning, and ends with easy choreography. The beauty of this dance form is mesmerizing and captivating...a joy to experience and practice.
Learn the fundamentals of Irish Dance technique with a fusion flare! We will explore traditional to theatrical styles with first a barre warm up that will focus attention on specific feet/leg placement before moving into the center. Steps such as "7's" & "Spring 2-3's" as well as single & double Irish skips will be taught & blended together to create dances of reels & jigs. No experience necessary. Ages 14 and up welcome!
Kirtan & Satsang
Satsang is a sacred gathering, a place where we come together as a community to nurture that Divine spark within. We use kirtan or inspirational music and chanting, guided practice and meditation to align ourselves to something more profound and healing for body, mind and soul. Open to all by donation.
Latin Hip Hop
A high energy, super fun mix of salsa, reggeaton, and hip hop! This class starts with warming up to some exciting follow-along songs that are sure to loosen you up (and get your heart rate up!) followed by a short choreographed routine that builds on itself every week and ending with a relaxing cool down. Some dance experience is recommended.
Nia- Holistic, Aerobic Dance Flow
Nia is an ecstatic yet deeply grounded body-mind-spirit fitness and lifestyle practice that empowers people to cultivate mental, emotional and spiritual health & fitness via joy and pleasure. Music and movement variety make each class a unique experience.
Nia dance workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. Nia is practiced barefoot, non-impact, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities.
T'ai Chi & Qigong - Gentle Healthy Chinese Art of Flow and Power
T’ai Chi is both a graceful and healthy moving meditation, and powerful martial art. Originated in China, and practiced worldwide for health, balance & vitality, T’ai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit through gentle, flowing, conscious breath and movements. Practicing T’ai chi generates internal energy, mindfulness, ease and serenity, while cultivating smooth and powerful life energy (a.k.a. chi, qi, prana, ki). Studies have found T’ai chi to improve muscular strength, flexibility, fitness, arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, respiratory disease and other chronic diseases, as well as improving balance, preventing falls, helping posture and building overall immunity.* T’ai chi has also been shown to improve mental illness, depression and stress. T’ai chi is an healthy wholly integrated art form that can be practiced at any age with any level of fitness.
We will begin class with a Qigong warm up and then move into T’ai Chi.
